Western sold two slightly different versions of the second series of SuperStar Barbie dolls, one in 1989, the other in 1991. The dolls and clothes are the same; however, the covers and the tote bags are different. The outfits are all from the 1989 SuperStar line except for one Paris Pretty outfit.
The 1989 stock number is 1537-2; the other one has both 1989 and 1991 dates on it and is 1537-3.
