Other paper dolls besides Pink N Pretty Barbie can walk on this runway!

The Pink N Pretty Barbie Doll Playbook and the Barbie & Skipper Campsite at Lucky Lake Playbook (https://skippercollector.blogspot.com/2020/11/barbie-and-skipper-busy-every-day-at.html) are the two most elaborate paper doll sets that I own.

Pink N Pretty Playbook, stock number 1836-43, was published in 1983, a year after the doll's 1982 introduction.  The book has two large backdrops to set up, one being the entrance to a theater, the other of the inside runway stage and audience.  Although not mentioned in the book, you could have other paper dolls come down the runway too.

The watercolor backdrops are reminiscent of scenes in the 1960s Little Golden Books, which were a sister publication of Western Publishing, and I wonder if the same artists painted the drawings.

The clothes are Mattel's, from the 1982 clothing booklet.  The exception is the pink sweater and jeans outfit, which is what the 1983 Fashion Jeans Barbie wore.

The lines you see near Barbie's waist
are the arms of the audience watching the models inside the theater.

Barbie wears a full body shaper under all of her clothes!
I am assuming that the younger girl on the top left is Skipper.

Everything is from 1982,
except for the 1983 Fashion Jeans Barbie set.

The curtains also open,
being the inside picture of the theater entrance.

The doors to the theater entrance open.
