WCPO behaved itself--somewhat--in January, for I found only three pre-emptions:
Thursday, Jan. 10, 8 p.m., Fighting for Life instead of Ugly Betty
Friday, Jan. 18, 9 p.m., Fighting for Life instead of Desperate Housewives
Wednesday, Jan. 23, Living Healthy at 8 p.m. and Winter Wonderland at 8:30 p.m. instead of Wife Swap
I have a sneaking suspicion that once the networks run out of new episodes of many of its programs because of the writers' strike, WCPO will cancel ABC's schedule entirely.
You know, I wouldn't complain so much if WCPO actually ran something that was interesting! And "interesting" does not include Billy Graham specials or health programming. If Channel 9 wanted to air reruns of old shows from the 60s, 70s or 80s on a regular basis (and that means anything BUT The Andy Griffith Show, The Beverly Hillbillies, Friends, I Love Lucy, Leave it to Beaver, Seinfeld or The Simpsons, since all of those shows' episodes have aired at least 10,000 times), I might be willing to watch the station.
