July 20, 2007, bullying at TWoP

Is anyone else as disgusted as I by the juvenile bullying of actress Ashley Scott at the Jericho site at www.televisionwithoutpity.com? I've also read comments, to a lesser extent, at the IMDb, and another Yahoo group which I quit because I found this attitude so annoying.
The intense hatred of the posters for this actress and her character, and the things they are writing about her now, read like notes from teenage girls making horrid remarks about female classmates they don't like. You know this type of teenage girl--they put someone else down in an incredibly vain attempt to make their own selves look better, and they may even harass her and her family personally just to humiliate her.
I had assumed the posters at TWoP must be at at least in their 20s, but I suspect I am wrong. Perhaps they are all 14 years old.
I didn't have any feelings about Ashley's character of Emily before I started reading their comments. Now I am in complete sympathy with her, simply because the others are so cruel. I hope none of them have started harassing the actress personally. I fear that some of them might, though.

July 14, 2007, thanking CBS

I plan to write a second snail mail letter to CBS thanking the network for bringing back both the reruns of Jericho and the plans to air new episodes. I hadn't watched CBS since its announcement of Jericho's cancellation, until last week when the Jericho reruns started. I watched two more episodes last night.

July 13, 2007, Brass Armadillo closing

Friday the 13th was going well for me until I got home and opened my mail. I received a letter announcing that the Brass Armadillo is closing at the beginning of September, and its merchandise will be sold off at increasingly higher discounts in August. So I either have to remove some of my merchandise, or take my cheapo stuff, put it at a higher price, and then let it be sold at the discounted price. I am going to have to do some serious organization this weekend.
How is that I am destroying sale sites? First I registered with Yahoo auctions, and it went out of business, and now the BA.

July 1, 2007, June WCPO pre-emptions

WCPO pre-empted a few programs in June, and now WKRC is following its lead. The most disturbing pre-emption had to be of Finding Nemo. It was listed in the weekly TV booklet the Sunday before, so I am sure some families planned to watch it and were disappointed when it wasn't shown.

WCPO
Billy Graham Special at 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 5, instead of The George Lopez Show and According to Jim.
Freedom Center Presents at 8 p.m. Friday, June 8, instead of America’s Funniest Home Videos.
Paula’s Southern Cooking at 8 p.m. Saturday, June 23, and Ghostbusters II at 9 p.m. instead of Finding Nemo at 8 p.m.
Living Healthy at 8 p.m. Thursday, June 28, and Barkitecture at 8:30 p.m. instead of Ugly Betty

WKRC
Pleasantville at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, June 23, instead of Jesse Stone: Death in Paradise at 8 p.m.
