tropical splash line

The 1995 Tropical Splash dolls had the prettiest swimsuits Mattel has ever made.  If you see all of the dolls together, you'll notice a pattern to the orchid print colors:
Barbie and Ken have pink orchids, of course.  Steven and Christie (another couple) have purple orchids.  Kira's flowers are aqua and yellow and Teresa's a darker purple.  Note that Skipper's orchids are orange, a reference to the fact that up until the mid-1980s, Skipper's clothing packaging was orange.
