As you can see, WCPO pre-empted as much programming as all the other local affiliates did combined in March.
WCPO pre-emptions, March 2008
Tuesday, March 4, 9-11 p.m., Democracy 2008: Ohio Primary instead of
According to Jim, Carpoolers and Primetime
Thursday, March 6, 8 p.m., Franklin Graham Special instead of Lost
Friday, March 7, 8 p.m., Fighting for Life (is this its fifth or sixth airing?) instead of Grey’s Anatomy
Saturday, March 29, 8-11 p.m., Reel Homes, The Insider’s List With Julie Moran and A Guy’s Guide to Romance instead of Catch Me If You Can
other pre-emptions
WLWT, March 4, 7:30-11 p.m., election coverage instead of Extra, The Biggest Loser and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
WKRC, March 7, 10 p.m. until ?, weather coverage instead of Numb3rs, the 11 p.m. news and The Late Show with David Letterman
WSTR, March 14, Stars on Ice, Friends and UK basketball instead of The Good Son. Oh, man, did this pre-emption backfire on them! I had to laugh at the sportscasters between the two scheduled basketball games, trying to give weather reports and fill time as the Atlanta officials decided off-camera whether to have the second game after the tornado.
