I was just as surprised as you when I saw these dolls in store and checked to see who the manufacturer was. I guess if you can't beat them, join them. These don't seem to be selling well, though.

I'd like to suggest 5 other larger (11"-13") doll lines:
1. The Lollipop Girls by Jan McLean
2. Mixis by YNU Group
3. Prettie Girls by One World Doll Project. Please note: there is a "Tweens" Prettie Girls series that has huge heads: I ignore them.
4. Mallaville Dolls
5. Fashion Royalty - expensive, yes, but they are post year 2000 dolls.
There are other doll manufacturers for this size, however, these are some I have or hope to have some day that I thought I'd share.
